Instructions. Clean and roast the peppers, the serranos, the tomatillos, and the garlic cloves. Add 1/4 cup of water and place all ingredients inside the blender, including the seasonings and the cilantro. Blend until getting a sauce. Preserve via pressure canning or keep refrigerated inside a plastic container with a lid. Directions. Remove husk from tomatillos and rinse under lukewarm water. Remove stems and seeds from the green chiles. Fire roast your green chiles on the grill or over direct flame on a gas stove top until skins blister and blacken in most spots. Place peppers in a plastic bag or in between a clean kitchen towel.

Instructions. Start by giving the Hatch chiles and tomatoes a good rinse. Roast the tomatoes and chiles in a 400F oven for 20-30 minutes. De-stem and de-seed the roasted chiles. You can also pull off and discard any loose bits of skin from the chiles. De-stem the tomatoes as well. Keep broiling and turning the veggies every couple of minutes until nicely roasted, about 6-10 minutes total. Blend. Remove stems from the serrano chiles and place charred veggies in a blender with the Hatch chiles, cilantro, water, and salt. Blend until completley smooth. Enjoy!
